In this first message, I’d like to call your attention to a new music education resource, the Music Educators of Pennsylvania network, http://pamusiceducators.ning.com/.  This website, created by LVC’s Dr. Barry Hill, is a place for music educators to share ideas and work together to make music education exciting and relevant in today’s world. Please visit and consider becoming a member.  The more people contributing, the more useful the resource becomes for all of us.

On Wednesday, February 11th, we will host the first of our four Music Education Master Classes for 2009. The focus for this year is Improvisation in Music Teaching and Learning.
