Just because it is summer, it doesn't mean that a lot isn't happening in Blair.

The Music Technology for Educators class, a part of Masters of Music Education program, featured Doug Gould who instructed the class of music teachers about microphones, setting up PAs at their schools, and more.

Doug is currently the CEO of Worship MD, and formerly served as Technical Training Associate Manager at Shure, Inc, U.S Manager Market Development at Shure, Inc, and Eastern Regional Sales manager at TASCAM.

Dr. Marian Dura began work as the Coordinator of the Master of Music
Education program on January 5, 2009.  She was most recently an
Assistant Professor of Music Education at Clarion University, where she
taught courses in elementary general music and integrated fine arts, and
also served as student teaching supervisor, head of string studies, and
conductor of the orchestra.

The growth of the LVC Masters in Music Education program required the creation of the new administrative position that Dr. Dura fills.

All Masters Music Education (MME) communications, questions, advising, etc. should now be directed to her. She can be emailed at dura@lvc.edu.

Dr. Dura's office is in Blair 108 and her door is open.  She invites you
to stop by to talk about old movies and TV, baseball, football, or
anything to do with Chicago, IL or Phoenix, AZ.
