My Philosophy of Music Education

I believe that an education in music is essential to all children's lives because music one of the arts that help teach children emotions. Music education should not be targeted towards the small percentage of students in the school program who are a part of the performing groups but should be available and accessible to the the general population. I believe that music education should be taught about where music is in the current time also. The world of music is in a transitional period right now and in order to keep up with what my students are going to be interested I am willing to learn new things.
