You may recall that Career Services, in partnership with the
Sheridan West Special Interest House: From
Campus to Community, recently hosted a two-part Financial Literacy series. Presented by Bill Stamey from Tabor Community
Services, the two sessions provided valuable information to students regarding
budgeting and the housing search. To
help tailor the information to our campus, the students of Sheridan West’s
House surveyed nearly 100 LVC students to gather perceptions of housing and
spending habits so that Mr. Stamey could respond accordingly. Each presentation was geared toward students or
soon-to-be-graduates starting out in the professional world.
In case you missed it, Jess Riley and Brittney Knauss from
Sheridan West took fantastic notes to share.

A special thanks to Sheridan West Special Interest House: From Campus to Community for making this Financial Literacy series a success!
