New Product for Better Access to Full-Text Articles
During the summer, the Library implemented an Open URL LinkResolver product. This product provides links within the online databases that will connect you to the full-text article anywhere in the Library’s collection.
If full-text is not available, this new feature displays the phrase “Looking for Full-Text?” at the bottom left of the citation that displays in response to your search within the database. Clicking on this link will automatically direct you to the full-text articles contained in other databases or electronic journal collections available through Bishop Library.
If the Library does not have electronic access, you will see a screen that provides the citation and a “no full-text was found for this article” message. Also on that screen will be: a link to search the Library’s catalog a link to initiate an interlibrary loan request a link to “Ask-A-Librarian” a search box to search the Journal Finder The Open URL LinkResolver eliminates the need to consult the Journal Finder for other full-text options.
