Academic Affairs introduces two new colleagues to the College:
Maureen Anderson joins the Vernon and Doris Bishop Library as our new Access Services Librarian. Previous to this appointment, she was Assistant Director of the Lebanon Community Library and an adjunct librarian at the Pushnik Library at Harrisburg Area Community College’s Lebanon campus. In addition to her library experience, Maureen also served as a graphic artist for the Lebanon Daily News from 2000-2007. She received her Master of Science in Library Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2007, and was a 2000 graduate of Lebanon Valley College with a major in English.
Elizabeth Morse French joins the faculty as Assistant Professor in the Department of Education. She brings many years of experience as a public school teacher, most recently in the Northern Lebanon School District in Fredericksburg, PA. Elizabeth was the Instructional Support Facilitator (K-6) from 2000-2009, taught second grade from 1990-2000 and was Acting Principal of Lickdale Elementary School during the 2007-2008 year. Before her work in the Northern Lebanon School District she held teaching positions in Bellville and Blossburg, PA. Elizabeth holds the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education from Mansfield University. In addition to certification credentials in reading, special education and administration, she is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Widener University.
