Some Interesting People

So I've had a gig, an office day and a meeting (in that order) since the last time I updated, and it's all been pretty interesting. Let's go from the top!

First off, the gig. Gotts, myself and Robyn (DJ at the station) went to Sansone Auto on Route 35, set up a tent and waited for people to come by play a few games for a t-shirt and maybe even try to win a car. We didn't get too many people, but according to Robyn, that's pretty standard at a car dealership gig, but we had some cool people stop by and chat for a bit. The one guy I thought was particularly interesting had a car with 600,000 miles on it. I kid you not. 1994 Toyota something-or-other with 600K, not to mention he was a really cool guy, and his son who couldn't have been more than 10 was an absolute riot. Everything went well, though setting up the giant inflatable logo was interesting with the wind and all (it's heavy!). Overall, the gig was awesome.

Office day today was pretty boring, aside from the fact that we went to go pick up Yankee tickets for the station in Atlantic Highlands, which is about 40-ish minutes away, before we got the call that the lady who had them left and we had to turn around. At least it killed an hour before the meeting.

The meeting was awesome though. We had to introduce ourselves and that whole deal to 25+ plus people, and myself being the super expert at public speaking that I am, thought of everything good to say after I sat down. Smooth. We played some games, ate some pizza, and I met some cool people that I'm really looking forward to crossing paths with during my internship.

The past few days have been pretty sweet, and I'm hoping to top it all off with a killer beach trip tomorrow. Until next time everyone!
