Database of the Month: Access World News

Access World News through NewsBank provides extensive access to full-text newspapers at every level—local, state, regional, national and international.  This database features a vast majority of the top U.S. newspapers by circulation, along with hundreds of hard-to-find local and regional titles.  

Additionally, Access World News offers hundreds of international news sources from scores of countries on six continents, translated into English.   Sources include print and online-only newspapers, blogs, newswires, journals, broadcast transcripts and videos.

Bishop Library subscribes to two historical collections of American newspapers & imprints which are also accessible from the NewsBank site.  These collections are part of the Archive of Americana, published by Readex, a division of NewsBank.
