On June 9, 2012, Bishop Library hosted the annual Donor Appreciation Breakfast. This invitation-only breakfast takes place during alumni weekend and honors reunion donors from the current fiscal year.

The event had a great turn-out this year. Alumni celebrating reunions were from class years ending in 2 and 7, with the class of 1962 celebrating their 50-year reunion.

Materials from the archives, including yearbooks and photos, were on display for the donors.  Clips of old LVC football films were also shown on two monitors located at the circulation desk.  Frank Mols, Maureen Bentz, and Lori Nyce represented the library at the breakfast.  President MacDonald and Mary Warner were present again this year and visited with the many donors.
